I was recently asked, why start a web page? Answer: To catch up with present business trends and to take advantage of technological advances. In times gone by it was easier to pick up the phone and call the web master. Tell him what I would like done and it was done. Keep in mind that the person that says something is simple is generally an expert with at least 20 years of experience. I can say that the folks at Intuit have done a superb job of refining the process of building a web site through their SiteBuilder Plus program, to within a gnats eyelash. Most people bite off more than they can chew, as was my case. Have always believed in the KISS Principle. My version is Keep It Simple and Straight forward. The primary reason for being my own web master is to be more flexible and timely with regard to CHANGE. Based on what is happening in the U. S. A. today, there will be plenty of change in the next few years. NOW is again, the best time to start growing.
